The Young Widow and the Surprising Reason She Never Turns Her Back at the Cemetery

Every week, a young widow would visit her late husband’s grave. She brought fresh flowers, watered them carefully, and stood silently for a few moments to pay her respects.
But there was something unusual about her behavior — she never turned her back to the grave when leaving. She always walked away facing it, step by step.
A young man who had been watching her for weeks grew increasingly curious. One day, he finally approached her and said politely:
— It’s clear you have deep respect for your late husband. I think it’s really touching that you never turn your back when you walk away.
The woman looked him straight in the eyes, gave a slight smile, and replied:
— Well, sir… my husband used to say that my behind could raise the dead.
She paused for a second and added calmly:
— So I’d rather not take any chances.
