The USB Drive in the Sausage

Yesterday, I bought a regular sausage at the supermarket — nothing special, just to make a few quick sandwiches. I got home, sliced some pieces, ate, and put the rest in the fridge. All normal. 🤔

But this morning, while preparing lunch, something strange happened.
I grabbed the same sausage, placed it on the cutting board, and started slicing.

Suddenly, the knife got stuck — as if there was something hard inside.
“Must be frozen,” I thought.

I cut another slice… and the sound was different. The blade hit something metallic.
I looked closer and froze.
There was something shiny right in the middle of the sausage. 😱

At first, I thought it was just a piece of metal, some factory defect.
But when I started digging with the tip of the knife, I almost dropped it.
Inside the sausage… was a USB drive!

Yes — a real USB drive, with a cap and everything.
My stomach churned. I had already eaten some of that sausage! 🤢
How on earth did something like this end up inside a packaged product sold in a supermarket?

The disgust quickly turned into pure curiosity.
I turned on my computer, took a deep breath, and plugged in the USB drive.

The screen flickered, and suddenly files began appearing.
And what I saw left me completely frozen. These weren’t ordinary files: there were photos, videos, and encrypted folders with names I had never seen before.

One file immediately caught my attention: “Read before opening.” Trembling, I clicked.

The content was a short video, but it was shocking. It showed the inside of the supermarket’s factory, people handling food, and, in the middle, someone secretly hiding USB drives inside products.
My heart raced. This was a criminal operation — someone using food to transport sensitive information undetected.

I didn’t know whether to call the police, tell someone, or just walk away.
But one thing was certain: I now had proof of something huge — and it all started with an ordinary sausage.

And the scariest part? The video ended with a message on the screen:

“If you saw this, you’re marked. Be careful who you trust.”

From that day on, lunch would never be the same.
